The AAJA-S.F. Bay Area Chapter is awarding stipends of $500 each to up to 10 members for use toward attending the 2024 AAJA convention from Aug. 7-11 in Austin, Texas. Access the application here.
Priority will be given to applicants who have a financial hardship, such as a job loss, and to those who demonstrate active involvement with AAJA or the chapter. If selected, grantees are expected to volunteer for at least one event or activity for the chapter.
The grantee can apply the money toward any expenses incurred during the convention. Grantees must provide a copy of their convention registration receipt to receive their stipend.
