AAJA recognizes its members are involved in many different fields of journalism, including one of its most popular concentration: sports journalism.
The AAJA Sports Task Force (STF) was established by the Association in recognition of this. STF looks to make Asian American voices and stories more visible in sports journalism, and encourage aspiring Asian American sports journalists to go further in the field.
STF is one of the largest and most widespread affinity groups in AAJA.
